For the first time in March 2022, Purple Cap participated in a cricket tournament organized by Kanbis Sports Club, named “Kanbis Mega Night Tennis Cricket,” hosted at the Ruaraka Sports Club.
Purple Cap participated with one(1) team. All the players were members of the group. This team was fresh, playing cricket after several years, but still, we were the talk of the town because night tennis ball cricket had never witnessed the kind of support we were getting.
Purple Cap was Awarded a trophy for the best supporters. Our team played five(5) games and did not win any, but they improved game by game, which was also appreciated by the organizer.

Charity

After the success of Kanbis mega cricket, catering for all the expenses for the tournament, the surplus, catered school fees for an under-privileged girl, and we as purple cap have pledged for her future education expenses.
