In August 2022, we participated in the Moonstar 9-aside Night Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament, which was hosted at the Ruaraka Sports Ground.

We participated with two(2) teams, Purple Cap B and Purple Cap C.

Purple Cap B was considered one of the best teams in the tournament, and it performed as one. Despite losing a very intense encounter, Purple Cap B qualified for the semi-finals.

Purple cap C was underrated, but the team’s performance was exceptional. They took all five(5) group stage games right until the end, giving the opposition a hard time. Purple Cap C only managed to make it to the group stages, winning one(1) game against the top team in the group. We believe that will boost their confidence, and they’ll come even harder next time.

Charity

After a successful Moonstar tournament, the surplus was used to buy hay and was distributed randomly to the needed drought-area cows.
